Directions:
From Tunbridge Wells
Take the A264 Pembury Road from Tunbridge Wells towards Paddock Wood and Maidstone. Go straight over the two roundabouts.
Move into the right hand lane. Turn right at the traffic lights. The speed limit changes here to 30mph through the village.
Continue until you reach some more traffic lights. Take the next left. Follow this road down the side of the village green. Slow down and indicate left. As you reach the bottom of the green, there is a road on the left. It is quite a hidden road.
This is the private road leading to the Church. Head up this road; the drive has a slope to it. At the top you will see that there are three forks. Ignore the one straight ahead. Look left. You want the furthest left that you can take. This turns sharply left, and you have reached the car park.
If there is a special occasion, or a reason why the car park is full, there are usually spaces to park alongside the village green. Remember that this is a one-way system and you will have to go around the green again.
From Paddock Wood
Leave Paddock Wood along the B2161 Badsell Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit (left). Follow the road through Colts Hill, where the speed limit is 40mph. Be careful along this road as there are often lorries coming through and it is quite a narrow road. There is an accident blackspot at a crossroads along this road, too.
The speed limit will rise again to 50mph. Follow this road until you see a sign for a left turn. You want to take this turn. Be careful on slowing as people often overtake at this point.
Follow this road through the village for about a mile. You will pass a road labelled Amberleaze Drive. Slow down and indicate right. You want to take the next right turn, before the road joins the one-way system around the green.
