BIBLE STORIES

Do you get a bit confused when people talk about inns, stables and mangers?

Well, here are some pictures to help you out.

A stable is a place where animals live. It normally has hay in it, which keeps the animals warm.

An inn is a bit like a hotel. In those days though there weren’t five star hotels, there were just plain hotels with a bed in the room.

A manger is usually a wooden or stone trough, or box, where food is stored for the animals living in the stable.
